This policy explains what personal and business data Evonkart Enterprise ("Evonkart Enterprise", "we") collects when you register, order or use this website, why, and what choices you have. We handle your data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

  • Business registration details: your name, business name, GSTIN, mobile number, email, business address and pincode, and your login (we store only a protected form of your password, never the password itself).
  • Order details: the items you buy, delivery address, order and invoice records, and the name of the person who receives the goods.
  • Payment status: whether your payment succeeded and its reference number. UPI, card and netbanking details are entered on our payment partner's secure page - we never receive or store them.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device type and pages visited (via cookies and similar technologies), used for security and to keep you signed in.
  • Messages you send us by email, phone or the contact form, and enquiries you leave when your pincode is outside our delivery area.

Why we use it

  • To verify and approve your business account and prevent false registrations.
  • To process your order, deliver it, issue your GST invoice and contact you about it.
  • To process payments and refunds and to prevent fraud and misuse.
  • To provide support and keep legally required records (tax, GST and accounting).
  • To send you order and account messages. Offers and promotions are sent only if you have agreed, and you can stop them at any time (see "Your choices" below).
  • To improve the website.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to serve you: our payment partner (our online payment partner), our own delivery team, and service providers for hosting, email or message sending, and security. Your GSTIN, business name and address appear on the GST invoice we issue to you, and we report invoices to the tax authorities as the law requires. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data when required by law or a court or government order.

Cookies

We use essential cookies (login, cart, checkout and security). You can block cookies in your browser settings, but login and checkout will not work without essential cookies.

How long we keep it

Invoices, order and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Your account details are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for dispute, fraud-prevention and legal purposes; after that they are deleted or anonymised. Enquiries from outside our delivery area are kept only to contact you and are deleted when no longer needed.

Security

We use HTTPS, protected passwords, role-based staff access and other reasonable safeguards. No system is 100% secure, but we take care to protect your data.

Your rights and choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise your rights. Some records (invoices, tax records) must be kept by law and cannot be deleted until the legal period ends. To stop promotional messages use the unsubscribe page or reply STOP. Write to our Grievance Officer (details on the Contact page) and we will respond within the time required by law.

Who can use this website

This is a business-to-business website for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
